"What Domino needed wasn’t another stuffy, overwrought French restaurant or a modern gastronomic laboratory, but instead a refuge from the hustle and bustle of city life. Or at least… the illusion of one."
- Hitomi (PG-13)
"Pregnancy didn’t suit her. She missed wearing whatever she wanted, doing whatever she wanted. That made her nervous about being a mother too. What if she wasn’t cut out for motherhood? It wasn’t like they had planned on having a baby."
- Legends of Duel Monsters (PG-13)
"Somewhere along the way, Seto had learned that games weren’t all about survival, with real life consequences that meant life or death. Somewhere along the way, he – and Yami and Noa and Mokuba too - had learned to play without penalties, for the sake of fun and nothing more."
- Victory Lap (NC-17)
"Yami had once told him, 'We have no difference in skill.' But even if Seto were to believe that, wouldn’t that mean the best he could hope for was a draw, unlikely as that was? It didn’t mean he’d win. Certainly he never had before."

Below: Illustrations for "Changes." The first pic is a collage of the furnishings for Skyview on the 69th, from Ch. 1. The second is an example of an infinity pool as mentioned in Ch. 1. The third is the Hitomi Kanzaki from "Vision of Escaflowne," as mentioned in Ch. 2. The fourth is a collage of the archetypes and mounts for "Legends of Duel Monsters" from Ch. 3.

LJ Ficlet Series
rating: PG to PG-13 / R
pairing(s): Yami x Seto (& rev)
summary: One-shots. Various unrelated insane, cracked out, and strangely random little ficlets, scenes and drabbles that I've posted to my LJ for one reason or another. Some (most) are very loosely (ok, I lie) based on the "Life With Kai-baby and Yami-kins" AU.

- "A Horse Is a Horse, Of Course, Of Course" (PG-13 / R)

- "A Tail of Two Ducks" (PG-13)
Ficlet: Yami makes a bet with Seto that he can make him choke on his coffee...
- "The Capital of Nebraska Is..." (PG-13)
Ficlet: Yami overhears something strange while Seto's in the shower.
- "Do It Like They Do on the Discovery Channel" (PG-13)
Ficlet: "And here we have the rare Setois Kaibus performing his mating dance..."
- "F Is for Friends Who Do Stuff Together" (PG-13)
Ficlet: Yugi-tachi + Spongebob makes Seto very, very confused.
- "Dreams Do Come True" (R)
100 word drabble: Seto makes Yami's dream come true.
